In the midst of some pretty consuming health issues I wanted to take myself to a place that no one else knows about and the waves there have never been ridden to escape to in my mind. As I was creating this piece, I imagined the path I would have to create over mountains and through a jungle just to get a peak at the break. This view gives you the exact moment when I peaked through the last bit of the jungle to see the perfect set coming through. This piece entitled “Secret Spot” gives the viewer the opportunity to gaze into it and imagine all kinds of different fun that could be had at a secret spot or the adventure of getting there and finding it.
